What are you riding these days?
Ah, Streets "Argyle" Deck, Set of Thunders, some Black Market wheels, Ninja bearings
and a Plymouth Voyager.

How has College Life @ UW-O affected your skateboarding?
D-It hasn't really, besides the fact that I had to sneak in past the grotesque naked body of my ex-roomates girlfriend when I needed to get my board.
Really that bad?
D-Yeah trust me, it was bad!

Favorite local skate-spots?
D-Our Kitchen floor...smooth man(laughs), please don't tell our landlord. Keep it old school, the White Ledges.
Nothing else?
D-No rails sucks.

Most of your skating was done in and around Waupaca WI and you had some close friends there. Describe the differences between those days and nowadays with your Oshkosh friends.
D-Jon and Jeremy and those guys are getting so good it sucks. All the Waupaca friends are younger and skating in Oshkosh has allowed me to skate with older dudes. I miss the antics with the Waupaca kids... like when Jon made out with Amanda Slow in the rain with candles in his hands(laughs) that was funny.

Are you still having as much fun skating as you did when you were younger?
D-Yeah, but my priorities have had to change alot. Between work, school, girlfriend and the other things I am involved with, it's much harder to find the time to get a good session together. Life was more simple back then.

Your a drummer right?
D-Yeah.
What type of stuff do you play and what interests you about playing?
I love everything from Jazz to fricken' Rock n Roll. It is an artform, my artistic outlet. It is almost
like a feeling of transcendence. I couldn't live without it.
C'mon mister cool guy, you do it for the chicks right?
D-Only one chick.
Yeah one chick per night right?
D(falling back in laughter and asking for KTE and Eric Anderson to help him with this one...)
I Can't answer that without getting in trouble.

Milkshake or Malted?
D-Ewww Milkshake Definitely.
Man, all you kids like shakes dude, you freaks...Malteds!!! Milkshakes are just melted milks.
Flavor?
D-I am a simple man, vanilla.

D-shows, art, music, walks on the beach, engaging in intelligent conversation with my significant other.

When you think about a great skatevideo which one comes to mind?
D-I love all the Plan B videos they are the coolest and the "That's Life" Foundation video.

Would you attend a "chick flick" if a girl wanted/needed you to?
D-I would go without a girl, I am really sensitive.

Influential Skateboarders? Influential People?
D-Probably Kevin Ritzke because he is a nice guy and little Crystal she inspires me because she is the only girl who has style when she skates.
D-James Baker, my parents and the big man upstairs.

What would you like people to know about you?
D-Let's get serious for a second...

Life is short, so many people walk around with distorted views of love and life.
