"THE ARRANGEMENT" VIDEO PREMIERE... New Stuff... 03/22/2005 Dude.....Streets of Fire is still open. For real! Don't mind the mess out front. The Streets building just needed a little TLC. So the rumors aren't true. Streets isn't changing it's name to "Super Secret Skateboard Supply", Lahti and Baker aren't vampires that needed the front windows covered with tarps so their flesh didn't melt, it's not a "Harry Potter" thing trying to change the shop into the "Chamber of Secrets." It's just some construction mess...all in the name of progress...or a revitalized downtown Oshkosh.

07-01-2005 Welcome to July! Where in the heck did June go? OK dudes.....since i missed the late night skate session in Wautoma.....I'm going to post fireworks pictures from last year's Pribz Sr.'s Fourth of July Festivities. If nothing else this should serve as a reminder that in most cases......skateboards and fireworks don't mix. We were lighting off some small fountains.......my cousin Brandon (Brandoni rides the pony) and his friends were flipping their boards through them.....when tragically.....the night ended with one guy at the ER. It seems two guys had the same name.....and you couldn't see through the sparks and smoke through the other side of the lit fountain. And of course I had my eyes looking through the camera lens zoomed in on the action. So while someone yelled for one guy to try a trick.....the guy with the same name on the other side thought they were yelling to him. So both guys went at the same time.........and both blindsided each other. Imagine skating full speed and concentrating on trying to land a trick over a lit firework.....and while trying it....getting hit by another skater coming at you full speed doing the same thing. That's about the most punk way to celebrate this country's independence dude! Fo shizzle. Not the typical fireworks related accident.....no missing fingers or blown off eyebrows...just a mid-grade concussion. Don't let this tragedy happen to you. Wear a helmet....and asbestos boxers....if you're gonna skate fireworks.

This dude was having fun too....skate shoes are actually quite flame retardent......unfortunately ...the skateboard industry is not nearly as flameboy retardent as it should be.
This dude was landing tricks.........and saying stuff like....."I believe in the transformational power of liberty"........he was inspired dude.
This is what was left.....notice the one dude got hit so hard his shoe got knocked off? That's nuts dude. If that isn't an "ender ender"...i don't know what is. I'm quite sure I'll be the only one skating the fireworks this year....everyone else will be too scared. But rest assured.....if I actually land a slappy nose slide on a fountain...i'll post the pics.

First off....lemme just say that Mr. H. Potter is a freak.......but mostly in a good way. Like if you asked him how to stay cool while skating stylishly....i'm sure he'd come up with some "off the wall" idea......

This might be my favorite picture from last Thursday night.......not because of the Knucks love between Lahti and H.Potter....but because I had the flash settings messed up...and it totally overexposed Lahti. The overexposed Lahti is actually three shades darker than the real Lahti... that is so punk!

Ummmm.....three of the most messed up fellas this side of Chi-town......but my head band did match my shirt......so step off! My only regret was not getting any pics of S.O.B. but maybe next time. 6-16-2005 NEW STUFF! plus alot more new stuff!!! The skatepark committee meeting went down last night. Thanks to everyone who attended. Things are rolling along and we need to keep the momemtum going. If you haven't had a chance to make one of the first two meetings......please try and make it to the next one (details on that meeting will be posted here). The more people we have the more we can accomplish, and hopefully the better the end product will be. Last night we "kinda" decided on a name for the project. If you left early (like Tony did) you'll be surprised to find out that the tentative name of the project is NOT "River City Skatepark Project" but rather....the name is.......... Oshkosh Community Skatepark Project Kinda generic...but Tony brought up a good point: that is, we need to involve the city as much as possible because we need them on our side. So we'll see if the name changes or not (I'm betting it will..............) but at least we have something to work with now. Stay tuned to the website or stop in at the shop for updates on the project. On a side note...my suggestion last night that we name the project "SPOO" (Skate Park Of Oshkosh) was a joke......however...the following suggestions I forget to mention... 1)S.U.F.F.E.R. = Skaters United For Fair & Equal Representation 2)O.S.H.K.O.S.H. = Outside Skateboarding Helps Kids Obviously Stay Healthy 3)O.P.I.U.M. = Our Park Is Unbelievably Mangled 4)S.O.D.A. = Skate Or Die Alright! 5) S.O.C.C.E.R. = Skating Over Cracks Can Exhaust Ragers Ok...sorry....enough of that...I just have a thing for acronyms I guess Now for the pictures..........

05-25-05 So OK...its MTV Pribz here with a strictly business update. Last night I was laying in bed with twin number one who was stressing over her impending tonsilectomy the following morning (errr......which was today) when who should "beep" my nextel but none other than Mr. James P. Baker Esq. with an announcement that some skate type gentlemen were heading towards NeeHaw with the intention of sessioning a certain car dealership where you ummmmm? "get a great deal more" i think. He asked if I was down.....and so i excused myself from twin number one assuring her that her tonsilectomy would go down as smooth as one of Heart Attack Zack's tre flips and told the wifey i had to make a late night run and snuck on over to the spot. Only thing that sucked was that I didn't have my "real" camera to get some pics. Thankfully i had my "fake" camera....so I got a few good shots. Let's see who was there? James P. Baker (of course), Brian Gaylord Lahti (of course), The Man-The Mystery-The Mohair, Jiggity Josh Hornay (french pronounciation), Heart Attack Zachary, Dean "grip tape graphic god" Peters, Tanner Van Dammer, Jimmy Cash Money, and some other guy I only know as Dane....or as I now prefer to call him Dane County Coliseum (dcc). I got there a little late but when I did everyone was skating the big wedge......gnar dog tricks were going down.......except for the gnar dog tricks that Dane County Coliseum was trying .....cuz a few of his tricks went "over" the back...rather than down. From there the action moved to a little kicker and a parking barricade. Check the pics......but know that it was the biz-omb Tom. All in all I'd have to say it was an excellent way to spend an hour. Now for the pictures.....

Did I mention that Hornay could float buttery smooth big fat ollies right in your face? I didn't? I must have forgot to mention that. Anyway...the only thing cooler than a big fat barricade ollie..is doing one with your hands in the perfect "sidewalk surfer" form. If this was the Olympics Hornay would have recorded the first ever perfect 10.0!
Everyone loves H.A.Z. and his flippers....well....mostly the girls love H.A.Z......and the guys love his flippers......but you get my drift.
